Tanah Lot Tour

  • We’ll begin our journey by heading first to see Bali’s majestic banyan trees, which have been revered for centuries as sacred symbols of longevity and spiritual power. In Balinese culture, these ancient trees are often found near temples and village centers, believed to house protective spirits.

  • Along the way, you'll take in scenic views of the Ayung River, Bali’s longest river, historically vital for irrigation and agriculture. We’ll then walk through a coffee farm, where you'll learn about the traditional Balinese coffee-making process, including the unique method of producing Luwak coffee, one of the rarest and most expensive coffees in the world.

  • Next, we’ll visit my home, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to craft Balinese offerings (canang sari) within a traditional Balinese compound. These daily offerings, made from flowers, leaves, and rice, play a central role in Balinese Hindu rituals, symbolizing gratitude and harmony with the divine.

  • Afterward, we'll stop at a charming lake temple in a nearby village, reflecting Bali’s deep connection between water and spirituality. We’ll then continue to Pura Taman Ayun, a magnificent royal temple built in 1740 by King I Gusti Agung Putu of Munggu, the founder of the Mengwi Kingdom. As a UNESCO-listed site, this temple is known for its grand multi-tiered shrines (meru) and moat-like water gardens, designed to symbolize Mount Meru, the cosmic mountain in Hindu mythology.

  • Our journey will conclude at Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali’s most iconic sea temples, dramatically perched on a rock formation in the Indian Ocean. Built in the 16th century by the revered Hindu priest Dang Hyang Nirartha, this temple is dedicated to Dewa Baruna, the sea god. As the sun sets over the waves, you'll witness one of Bali’s most breathtaking and spiritually charged landscapes, making for an unforgettable end to the day.
