Meet Gusti Made Anggara Arta
I’m Gusti Made Anggara Arta, or "Made" (pronounced Ma-Day) a proud Balinese, born and raised in the village of Taman, just outside of Ubud, nestled on the west side of the sacred Ayung River, Taman is a place where generations of local families have passed down timeless traditions.
From farming and home building to the art of creating ceremonial offerings. These customs are at the heart of the Balinese way of life, and I’m honored to carry them forward and share them with you.
At 16, I started my journey as a tour driver, and since 2010, I’ve been a full-time guide, helping over 400 visitors explore Bali. Many of them are now dear friends.
In 2010, I also married my beautiful wife, Ayu Cita, and together, we started our own tour company. Our family grew with the birth of our first son, Eka, in 2015 – a moment that made me even more proud to share the magic of Bali with the world.
I’m passionate about my work and excited to introduce you to Bali beyond the usual tourist attractions. My tours go beyond the beauty of Bali’s landscapes; I’ll guide you through the rich history, vibrant culture, and sacred traditions of this island. Whether it’s learning about ancient customs or experiencing the warmth of Balinese hospitality, I’m here to ensure your visit is unforgettable.
Let’s explore the beauty of Bali together – a journey that will touch both your heart and soul
